To test this in the real world, MyCareGorithm collaborated with Moffitt GI to conduct a study involving 20 localized pancreatic cancer patients. The feedback was incredibly positive – 88% reported a strong positive impact on their understanding of their disease and treatment plan, and 100% strongly agreed that the tool enhanced their confidence in their provider’s ability to care for them. Furthermore, many expressed their interest in using the tool’s resources at home, with 63% agreeing that they would utilize them frequently.

Patients described how the visual tool made complex details easier for them to understand, especially for visual learners, and how it reduced their fear and anxiety. One patient shared how seeing detailed illustrations boosted their confidence and excitement about upcoming treatments like surgery and chemotherapy. Others noted the difference from previous consultations, highlighting how the clear visuals revealed important details that were previously overlooked.
These results and reviews showcase that access to personalized data and clear knowledge is critical during a consultation. Patients don’t only need the right information but also a way to relate it directly to their own condition and circumstances. Without this, the wealth of medical data can feel abstract and inaccessible, making it hard to make informed decisions. When knowledge is presented visually and tied closely to a patient’s individual diagnosis, it bridges the gap, turning puzzling facts into meaningful understanding. This empowers patients to actively participate in their care, ask informed questions, and feel more in control of their health journey.
